WaterBridge Belgian Dark or Hazelnut Chocolate

I found these large chocolate bars in WalMart, of all places, confectionary artisan chocolate from Belgium. They are made in the small Belgian town of Aarschot, made exclusively for WaterBridge. It can be debated, and is, that Belgian chocolate is among the best in the world, but the proof is in the tasting. With their large size comes a small price, surprisingly, about $4, but that could be a special introductory price. The Dark version, of 500 g, with cocoa solids of 54%, has a good ingredient listing, just cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter and soy lecithin. The Hazelnut version, of 400 g, is a milk chocolate bar, with cocoa solids of 33% and milk solids of 15%, also has a fairly good ingredient listing, sugar, hazelnuts, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, soy lecithin and natural vanilla flavour. From the graphic on the wrapper, the roasted hazelnuts look to be a good size.

Hi, Mike:

I bought a package of Waterbridge Dark Chocolate today at Wal-Mart in Winnipeg. Price is roughly $4 for a 500 gm bar - which is surprisingly low for any "Belgian chocolate" product. The chocolate tastes quite pleasant, is rich in cocoa (54%), which I expect from true dark chocolate.

Another blog site advises that this product line is beiing "dumped" on the market and may be past its best-before date. However, I cannot find such a dtae but do note that the product batch number is LF26209. Considering that this product is produced in Belgium and not in China - it's probably safe to eat and not a bad investment.

Walmart is notorious for demanding the best price for the products it sells, one of the ways they make their money.

It's hard to tell whether chocolate has gone bad really, though in my experience, the "younger" the chocolate, the more the flavour.

Buy the best chocolate you like; if you enjoy cheap chocolate, then be happy, otherwise, it could be an expensive wonderful addiction.

I've been looking for a while, and I can't find such a manufacturer in Belgium. Can anyone provide info about the Waterbridge Company, or is this product falsely advertised?

An attention-grabbing discussion is price comment. I think that it's best to write extra on this subject, it may not be a taboo topic but typically persons are not sufficient to talk on such topics. To the next. Cheers usa online casino
